A History of the Nets' Home Courts

From Teaneck to Brooklyn

Barclays Center is the eighth home arena of the Brooklyn Nets, who have played in various locations since their inception.

The Nets played their first home games at the Teaneck Armory in New Jersey from 1967 to 1969. They then moved to the Long Island Arena from 1970 to 1972 before spending the next 29 seasons at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. In 2012, the Nets finally relocated to their current home in the Barclays Center.
